About me

Why I Teach Yoga

I teach Yoga because it is a powerful yet gentle system that brings people back to their natural state of balance. My intention is not only to guide movement but to help individuals discover steady breath, emotional ease, and inner clarity.

Swasa is built on the belief that wellbeing comes from alignment — of body, breath, and mind. When these elements come together, life begins to flow with more ease, confidence, and harmony.

My Teaching Approach

My classes are grounded in traditional Yoga, breath awareness, and simple Yogic philosophy delivered in a practical and accessible way. I believe in movement that feels safe, breath that feels steady, and teachings that feel relevant to everyday life.

Students can expect sessions that are structured, calming, supportive, and focused on mindful progression — whether they begin as complete beginners or continue their journey as regular practitioners.

At Swasa, everyone is guided gently, encouraged to listen to their body, and offered a space to grow at their own pace.

My name is Chandu Priya. I am from India and came to Germany in 2016 to pursue my Master's degree. I worked as a data specialist for corporate companies for over five years. I have been practicing yoga for a long time, and what began as a personal practice slowly evolved into a journey of gaining a deeper understanding of the mind, breath, and inner stillness. These aspects are often overlooked amidst the noise of everyday life.

Over time, I discovered the clarity and strength that arise from moving with awareness and breathing with intention. Inspired by this experience, I studied the traditional aspects of yoga and its philosophy. Eventually, I began sharing what I learned with others.

Teaching yoga made me realize that people don't just come for the physical practice; they also come seeking space, grounding, calmness, and a way to reconnect with themselves. This understanding shapes everything I offer through Swasa.

Meet Our Instructors

Chandu Priya Jagarlamudi

Chandu Priya Jagarlamudi is a certified Yoga Teacher with 500 hrs of teacher training from India. With over a decade of personal practice and more than three years of teaching experience, her sessions cover foundational and advanced concepts in Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, breathwork, and traditional yogic philosophy. She teaches regularly at the Volkshochschule (VHS) and continues to deepen her knowledge through workshops, ongoing study, and dedicated self-practice.

Chandu’s teaching blends mindful movement, safe alignment, and classical yogic principles in a way that is supportive, accessible, and grounding for students of all levels. She creates a warm and calm learning environment where participants can reconnect with their breath, build resilience, and find inner balance. Her approach is sincere, thoughtful, and rooted in a genuine passion for guiding others on their journey toward wellbeing.

Dharanesh HM

Dharanesh HM is an internationally renowned yoga teacher and trainer. He has a Master’s degree in Yoga Therapy and is known for his precise alignment and authentic, traditional teachings. He specializes in traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa, Vinyasa Yoga, Therapeutic and Healing Yoga, Advanced Asanas, Advanced Pranayama, Meditation, Yin Yoga, and Classical Hatha Yoga. His teaching style blends tradition with modern understanding to help students experience physical, mental, and spiritual transformation.

He has practiced yoga for over ten years on the traditional Indian yogic path, focusing deeply on discipline, self-realization, and spiritual growth. He has seven years of teaching experience and guides students with precision, authenticity, and alignment-based methods. His approach reflects the classical Indian tradition of yoga as a way of life, not just exercise.
